Honda decided to do some experiments with the 2012 Honda Civic Si coupe vehicle that the company launched last year and they have received good response for the coupe version that did particularly well. Honda has now decided to come up with the upgraded version with 2013 Civic Si Coupe that offers something better to the consumers. This vehicle might not be the right one for the family car buyers but it definitely offers good features for those who are passionate about driving and better handling. A Quality Outlook of Civic Si Coupe

In terms of overall exterior design the coupe gets better design than the sedan version. Honda believes that they have got lot of options and freedom in terms of design for the coupe because the vehicle is targeted towards particular audience.
The vehicles get the similar two door style appearance with fast roofline that is not straight and offers better aerodynamic capabilities. Honda has also come up with the new color called Sunburst Orange Pearl that changes color tones when the sunlight conditions changes. The front fascia of the vehicle has been modified to make it look sporty and the lower black grille is wider than in the previous vehicle.
The car also gets side skirts, spoiler with LED center brake lights and fog lights and chrome exhaust finisher and 17 inch sporty tires.


High in Performance

Under the hood, 2013 Civic Si Coupe gets 2.4 liter inline four engine that has the capability to produce 201 horsepower and 170 lb feet of torque. This is a change from the earlier version of the car where 2.4 liter four cylinder engine that pumped out the same amount of horsepower and torque. However, the major difference between the 2012 and 2013 model is that the power of the car comes from lower engine speeds.
Honda has decided to make this change to make sure that the vehicle is street friendly as well and not just performing on the highways. The engine which is very much like Acura TSX is mated with six speed manual transmission. The engine also gets added benefit from LSD that offers better speed at low engine power.
The 2013 Civic Si Coupe offers almost the same fuel economy as the previous one at 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. However, there are some minor tweaks made under the hood that makes the steering performance better than the previous one.

Safety Review

Honda Civic Si Coupe comes with some of the standard safety features including two row side curtain airbags, dual stage multiple threshold driver and front passenger airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist, antilock disc brakes and Brake Assist.

Inside the Civic Si

On the inside, Honda has made certain changes to the Civic Si Coupe and made it look more stylish for the buyers. The dashboard of the vehicle is redesigned and combined with soft touch materials that make it look premium. There are aluminum accents that make the car look sporty as well and go well with the dark materials used for the seats and dashboard.
It also offers intelligent Multi Information Display that offers Power Monitor that also displays the kind of power the car is generating at the moment and how the driver can improve the fuel economy of the vehicle. Honda has also added the Sequential Rev limit Indicator that shows when the engine red line has been reached.
